I get weekly updates from my child’s kindergarten teacher and it’s nice to generally know what’s going on at school. I feel connected, and school conversations at home are much richer. I also appreciate the transparency, accountability and reminder that my child spends their daytime with a living, breathing human being… so... wouldn't I want the same for the caregivers of my own students too? Alongside a brief reflection on control, surveillance and autonomy, this short presentation will demonstrate and provide ways to send custom and personalised updates to caregivers and students using Google Workspace.
